Wine Critic Review: "Ripe red-fruit flavors are nice and normal, while the palate feels fresh and lifted by balancing acids. Focused raspberry and plum flavors are clean and don't push the oak envelope. Overall, this is lively and fun. 87 Points." -Wine Enthusiast
My Review: On the nose, this Malbec had tones of blueberries, tomato juice, and a violet. On the palate, it was silky and full-bodied with a strong, spicy finish. The mid palate released flavors of blackberry jam, coffee beans, and maybe hints of red peppers. This was a pretty standard red for me, and although there some nice tannins, nothing stood out for me. I did not pair this food, but I would definitely try this with a heavier roma tomato pasta with charbroiled chicken.
